About Us

With a background in building and construction, Husband and wife team, Jon and Jess, have always had a passion for handcrafted items. Over the past twenty years, they have built two homes and lovingly restored a one hundred year old craftsman house. An appreciation for traditional building methods and a need for more storage due to a growing family, they decided to open Medinis Cabinetry in 2025 as their next big adventure. The word Medinis is Lithuanian for ‘wooden’ drawing from their family heritage. Jon and Jess live on a homestead with their three boys, their two cats, and their two pups.
